How to Cook |

Rinse 1 cup of red rice |

Add to a pot with a few drops of oil and a pinch of salt |
|
Add 2 to 2 1/2 cups of cold water (less liquid for firmer texture) |
|
Bring to a rapid boil, cooking for 3-5 minutes; Stir a few times to promote even cooking |
|
Then cover the pot with a lid, reduce heat to a very low setting |
|
Leave for 15-20 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed, to get a soft & tender texture |
